Oh deer? Oh yes! - Deer Arrow Brooches

Pineapples? Glitter? Brooches? Good, I'm glad I got your attention ;-) Now...

I just received this wonderful little package from Deer Arrow, an Australian-based company that specialises in handmade treats. Their range covers anything from woodland animals to acrylic teapots to geometric glitter goodies. If you're not a brooch fan they also offer earrings, cushions, hair wraps etc.

Deer Arrow offers postage within Australia at $5.00 (or free over $50.00). Postage to the UK is also $5.00 which is a very reasonable price. My brooches arrived securely (and decoratively) wrapped within 6 days.

First up is the dazzling glitter pineapple brooch. Retailing at approximately £5 (AU$10.00) this brooch is an incredible bargain. Who wouldn't want a brooch for a fiver?! In particular, a beautiful blonde pineapple (oops, dreaming of Grease again!) Any-who... Here it is! The brooch is solid yet lightweight so won't pull down on clothing. It really is difficult to capture the true glitter in all its glory but I can assure you it is very sparkly which is absolutely wonderful for a gal who loves the glitz (and puttin' on the Ritz).

Secondly, this adorable and unique potted cactus brooch. I love the vibrant green which will go with many of my outfits and will also bring out the green in my eyes. Green is also one of those fantastical colours that goes with most hair colours. I am excited for the summer to pair with Mexican-inspired raffia skirts and bandeau tops. This brooch weighs the same as the pineapple. This prickly fella won't hurt your wallet though, as this brooch also costs approximately £5 (AU$10.00). I have paired my cactus brooch with a green and silver lurex knit top in the following photos.

I really would recommend checking out Deer Arrow (they even have an Instagram (@deerarrow)) and seeing for yourselves the cute range they have to offer - treat yo' self!
