OOTD - Valentine's Day

Whether you have a Valentine or not, Valentine's day is a special occasion to get dressed up - whether its for yourself or a certain somebody. There is nothing like putting on your best set of underwear, curling up in bed and eating chocolate (lots of it!) This year myself and my gorgeous boyfriend Danny went out shopping during the day and then for a meal in the evening at our favourite restaurant, Chiquitos. Mexican food and cocktails - what's not to love?!

Here are my two outfits. Apologies in advance for lower quality images than I usually post on here. I am a silly billy and forgot to bring my camera home with me this weekend! So my Apple products had to suffice.My day time outfit was totally conventional for Valentine's day... Tropical tiki themed!

Fascinating fascinators - Birds and Fresia Feature

For those of you who hadn't already guessed it... I am a big fan of Dita Von Teese. Her style, sexiness and overall glamour is something I aspire to. So when Regina of Birds and Fresia (click here for her Etsy shop) messaged me about featuring something of hers I was jumping for joy. Birds and Fresia sell beautiful handmade hair pieces including the black beret with birdcage veil and pearl detailing and ivory flower hair clip, both of which I shall be showing you guys in this post. Originating from Spain, Regina is an absolute doll and a joy to talk to.

First on the menu is the black beret with a birdcage veil. I envisioned looking like Dita Von Teese, who favours a veil every now and again as shown below. My beret arrived and it was so much more! The small pearl detailing just adds to the beauty of it and I cannot wait to wear it. I recommend for those who are attending a glamorous event, doing a vintage-inspired photo shoot or simply want to dress-to-the-nines (something which I am partial to!)

Valentine's Inspiration Post - "I wanna be loved by you, just you"

Want to impress that special fella? Lady? Family pet? Well lucky you because I have compiled a list of fashion must-haves for this year's Valentine's day! Valentine's day is on a Saturday this year so fingers crossed I shall be able to see my beau. Even if I wasn't I would still probably dress up for myself like a little loved-up gremlin. I just received this wonderful little package from Deer Arrow, an Australian-based company that specialises in handmade treats. Their range covers anything from woodland animals to acrylic teapots to geometric glitter goodies. If you're not a brooch fan they also offer earrings, cushions, hair wraps etc.
