Now if you know me, I LOOOOOVE a little bit of tropical print. So when Banned said they were going to send me something from their new Spring Summer 2015 line, I was dead excited. Myself and several of the British Belles were lucky enough to see a sneak peek at the London Edge show and we were certainly not disappointed! Here are just a few snippets below of some of the incredible prints to offer:
Banned Apparel isn't available to purchase through their website unless you are looking to buy wholesale, but there are a range of amazing UK stockists - Audrey Star's Boutique, Blue Banana and Egg n' Chips and USA stockists - Blame Betty and Tragic Beautiful.
Not only do they have dresses to offer but also amazing bags (in matching prints!) and skirts as well as adorably scrumptious swimsuits and knitwear. Offered in a range of sizes, including a plus size range almost every gal is covered and at a very reasonable price of around the £40 mark for dresses and the £20-£30 mark for skirts and cardigans.
The dress that Banned sent me is their 'Wanderlust Flamingo Swing Dress' retailing at about £42.50. It is also available as a halterneck dress. The material is lovely and light for warmer weather and the length is calf length (on me, I am 5ft 3"). Mine is size XS and is a little large for me but what dress isn't large on me! It is wearable with a belt and I would say the dress has some stretch. My beautiful friend Atomic Amber has done a review of the cherry dress which is well worth a read! (Now for the photos...)
When it comes to accessorising this bad boy, you're looking at full whack OVER THE TOP tiki tropical trinkets. Banned actually have two amazing bags which would look perfect with this dress (It's not coincidence, they just love to tease us and make us want to spend our money). I also paired my dress with bamboo bangles and some aqua bangles I got in a charity shop.

Bamboo bangles - Bow and Crossbones and Vivien of Holloway
Hair flowers - Miss Fortune and Alternate Normality.

Gorgeous dress, and it looks wonderful on you!
