The Golden Tiki - Review of She's Dynamite sarong dress

You may have been tricked into thinking Tiki is a summer style, but oh no... you are wrong! It might be cold out (not as cold as it should be for Christmas over here in the UK) but tiki is a style that can be rocked all year round, with added layers of course! This post is all about the tiki sarong from She's Dynamite.
This sarong is made from imported genuine Hawaiian fabric, which I selected. I chose green because my new ginger locks mean I need a new wardrobe (and green looks great against red, as it does against any hair colour!). As this is a small business, only small amounts of items are available in each fabric, which has the bonus of your item being very unique but if you see something you love, don't hesitate to get it!

If you don't fancy a polynesian print, then have a browse amongst the other fabrics, a selection of which I have included below!

Left to Right: Harlequin bustier, boomerang wiggle dress and atomic print bustier

The sarong dress (or Hawaiian waterfall dress) is available to purchase here. The dress retails at £100 and is available in sizes 8-14, a copy of the size guide is included below. The fabric is light, with some stretch to it. The back panel is also elasticated to allow for movement. The dress also has a halterneck strap, which allows for adjustment around the neckline/bust area. The dress is handmade to order, so prepare for a short waiting time whilst your dress is created!

Halterneck tie detailing
Ruched cross detailing over the bust
Waterfall detailing at the waist

Thanks for reading! If you have any questions about this dress, or any comments feel free to leave them below! I am also over on Instagram (the link is now sorted, thank you for letting me know Sarah Glitter!). Just click the link along the top of the page. Best wishes and Merry Christmas/ Merry Holidays to you all!

  1. What a timelessly beautiful tropical print frock. I love the earthy colour palette of that particular fabric. It seems to suit a winter tiki inspired dress all the better.
