Their range is sizes 6-18 (6 and 18 are pre-order only) and priced from £49 and upwards with not only dresses on offer but skirts and bustiers, too! Alice in Retrospect Reads In Retrospect Magazine
Almost a year ago, some of you may recall that I attended the launch party for a brand new magazine with my fellow British Belles in Brighton. That magazine was In Retrospect, a glossy quarterly 'zine packed full of vintage inspiration, up and coming repro brands, exquisite photography of the past and present as well as interesting debates and articles and much more. This magazine caters for both men and women alike to provide the very finest in vintage publications.

Lust for Lingerie
Hello everybody!
It's me here just writing a little post about one of my favourite items of clothing... bras! I adore lingerie because it can make a woman feel sexy both on the inside and the outside. There is a loooooooong list of bras that I am looking to own but I have managed to narrow it down to a few of my favourite picks:

How to: Edit your selfies using PicMonkey
Just a quick evening post about how I edit my photos! It is amazing how different you can make an image look just by adjusting the lighting, filter or focus. It can be fun to edit your photos and there is nothing wrong with it. Below are some examples, all of the same photo. The technique for achieving them is included in the caption.

OOTD - Luxulite Lucite Love
Just a quick one to show you dolls my outfit of the day. Hint: I am wearing a teeny bit of pink...
...Okay maybe a lot of pink! But who can complain?! Feeling inspired by my recent purchase of this absolutely incredible brooch and earring set by Luxulite I put together this little outfit which consists of pink and black with the only other colours being in the ink that inhabits my legs!

Mini Post - In Retrospect magazine launch
BREAKING NEWS: BRITISH BELLES ATTEND MAGAZINE LAUNCH!!
Yeah you guessed it - The British Belles got invited to the In Retrospect magazine launch a couple of weeks ago. In Retrospect magazine used to be only available online, but has now ventured out in to print. This magazine takes a look at more 'authentic' vintage life and style. It was chock-a-block with fantastic little articles to read including what to say when someone comments on how you are dressed (a rather amusing and relatable article, I must say). There is also a feature on 1940s inspired day-wear featuring some beautiful garments by Heyday! - well worth a read!

If any of you can remember, I featured the Grace dress by Vivien of Holloway a few weeks ago (click here to see that post) and I mentioned that I would be wearing it to the magazine launch. Here are a few snaps of the dress in action! White faux fur shrug from Matalan. Photos courtesy of PaVan Wilder.

How To - 1950s Vintage Pin Curl Tutorial!
I have just uploaded a brand new video on to my YouTube!
My previous videos have been using bendy rollers to create my vintage pageboy hairstyle (click here to see that tutorial)
| A look I achieved using pin curls! |
However, with bendy rollers being uncomfortable to sleep in I decided to give pin curls a go again. I used to use pin curls, but I never had a very good technique and was lazy so only did a few around my head ;-)
Well now I have filmed you guys a 'how to' on setting my hair in pin curls. It does take a little longer in the evening than bendy rollers did, but I get much tighter curls and my hair does not pull at all!
I hope you enjoy the videos. Feel free to comment!
Mwah!
